Giving treats is a personal choice, strictly between you and your horse. Some folks offer them freely, some not at all, and others like to use them for rewarding specific behaviors.

There are commercial treats and those that you make yourself. Or, it can be a simple and wholesome as a carrot. But whatever you choose, make it good for your horse.
